Stitch, snip & natter lunchtime wellbeing sessions

12:00 - 13:00 | Tuesday 27th January 2026

Come along to mindful knitting, crocheting and cutting events during your lunch hour

Kairos Arts are hosting lunchtime sessions that could enhance your wellbeing this January, whilst making a difference to the community.

You are invited to join the Kairos team to help them create knitted or crocheted squares which are then made into blankets which they give to participants that attend their therapeutic arts group programmes.

You don't need to be an expert, you can learn as you make. Enjoy the relaxation of learning a new skill whilst volunteering your time to a worthy cause. A chance to connect with others over a cuppa whilst knitting, crocheting or sewing.

If knitting is not your thing, they also cut magazine cuttings so that participants of their programmes can make collages as part of their healing journey. If you don’t want to knit or crochet you could help them with this instead! We hope you will come along and take part at this very relaxed event.

Making a difference to the community one stitch and snip at a time!

These events have been kindly Funded by the Government of Jersey - Connect Me project.

About Kairos Arts

Kairos Arts are a group of creatives and therapists passionate about the potential to restore hope, dignity and worth through the freedom of the creative arts. They are a Jersey Registered charity, and they create and facilitate therapeutic arts workshops. By providing a safe place, vulnerable people are able to express their feelings, hopes, joys and fears.

They encourage participants to explore positive emotional qualities, develop their understanding of themselves and others, and find creative solutions to obstacles. They particularly work with women and children, those recovering from trauma, domestic violence, trafficking and abuse, and young people with mental health concerns. They foster engagement, interaction and creative self-expression with people who have been identified by existing charities and therapists.

They work locally in Jersey and internationally. Their workshops require a therapeutically safe space. They work in groups with a team of practitioners to help build connections and community within a nurturing environment. They use all the creative arts: movement, drama, music and art. They respond to the needs of the group through evaluation of each session and its participants, offering 6 to 8 week programmes. They also work one-to-one with children and young people in a range of settings, they offer one-off creative retreats and wellbeing sessions for frontline staff and corporates.
