This session is part of Threads of Culture, a series that celebrates the communities that shape our island. Each workshop explores a different culture through creativity, conversation and shared experiences.
In this session, you will learn the basics of needle felting and create a decorative piece inspired by Portuguese and Madeiran folk art. You will explore traditional patterns, colour and coastal influences, shaped by summer celebrations and cultural traditions.
Led by Cathryn Ward of Skaapie, the workshop is designed for beginners and open to anyone aged 10 and over. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.
The workshop will be held on the second floor and a lift is available.
